MARINE VETERAN HIRED TO MANAGE VETFRAN PROGRAM
The International Franchise Association Foundation announced today that they have hired Eric C. Johnson as the new manager of the VetFran program.
Johnson is a Marine Corps infantry veteran, having served a tour in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. More recently, Johnson worked in state and local government while successfully managing various political operations. He brings more than 10 years of professional experience to the VetFran program.
“I am excited to come on board with VetFran as we celebrate 30 years of service to both the veteran and franchise communities. There is already an outstanding record of achievement, and I hope to add to that as the program continues to grow and serve,” Johnson said Wednesday morning.

VetFran is the flagship initiative of the International Franchise Association’s Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit, and serves as a bridge between the franchise community, our nation’s veterans and a myriad of public and private sector partners. Dating back to 1991, VetFran has been at the forefront of ensuring that franchising is a leading sector of the economy for being veteran-friendly and veteran-ready.
