30 Heroes for 30 Years: Kendall Lemley, Minutemen Press

Kendall Lemley spent 9 years on active duty with the Air Force, after graduating from the United States Air Force Academy in the class of 1992. He then spent an additional 13 years in the Air Force Reserves, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 2014.

Ready to strike out on his own, Kendall purchased a Minuteman Press franchise in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2018. In the years since he has owned his franchise, Kendall has grown the business and seen outstanding growth. During the pandemic, he increased business with essential products such as signage, floor decals, social distancing products, and graduation signs for Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 graduates throughout the community.

Kendall is a life member of the US Air Force Academy Association of Graduates, as well as the Clermont County Chamber of Commerce, the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Milford Miami Township Chamber of Commerce.  He also serves as President of the Professional Eastside Network Chapter of Business Network International (BNI).

Kendall is proud of his military and civilian careers, but truly loves owning his own business. “Though I thoroughly enjoyed both my military and GE careers, there is nothing quite like the thrill of small business ownership.  I love the autonomy and sense of freedom and ownership that comes from franchising.  Throughout this endeavor, I have really discovered my passion for customer service, and the importance of creating a team that shares that passion.  Our relentless desire to delight our customers with both the quality of our product and speed of our service, is truly what sets Minuteman Press apart from our competition.”
